A true classic from Gretsch
This "Name Band" snare drum was made in the early to mid 1960's. Designated an "orchestra snare drum" in its original advertising, this drum has a 6 ply molded shell, die-cast hoops, and a 42-strand snare wire for a nice, full sound.
This drum is very clean for its age. No yellowing on the wrap, which is common for White Marine Pearl finshes, although the glue around the seam is messy. Average pitting on hardware, but is still a nice shiny chrome, with some small rust spots on strainer.
